How far in advance should we schedule picture day?

We recommend reaching out a few weeks to a couple of months ahead, especially for fall. Earlier scheduling gives us time to coordinate your roster, signage, and yearbook deadlines, but we can often accommodate shorter timelines too.

How do you handle student rosters and data?

Most schools export a roster from their student information system (SIS). We use it to match photos accurately by student and ID, and we handle that data on a secure, FERPA-aligned platform.

What do we receive after picture day?

Schools receive ID photos, administrative directories, yearbook-ready files, and class composites in your preferred format — with no extra work required from your staff.

Do you offer retakes and make-up days?

Yes. We schedule retakes and make-up days so absent or camera-shy students are covered.

How is student photo data kept secure?

Photos live in private galleries behind unique access codes, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we don't sell student or family information. See our Data Security page for details.

Can you photograph staff and faculty?

Yes — staff and faculty portraits are included and delivered with your directory and yearbook files.

How do you keep media day moving?

We arrive early and set up multiple stations with professional lighting, photographing each athlete quickly with multiple poses and digital backgrounds.

Can you photograph a whole league in one day?

Yes. Our workflow is built for high-volume days, and we plan the schedule with your coaches and organizers in advance.

How do parents order sports photos?

Parents order from a secure, password-protected online gallery and receive prints and products fast, with instant digital downloads available.

Do you photograph both youth leagues and school teams?

Yes — from tee-ball and rec leagues to middle school and high school athletics across the region.

Yes — sibling and family groupings are arranged right into the day.

Is there a cost for retakes?

No-cost retakes are included for absences and camera-shy days.

How do I order my photos?

Depending on your school or sport, most ordering is done online through a secure gallery, with order forms also available in some cases.

How do I access my gallery?

Use the link or access code sent home by DLS or your school to open your child's private gallery through our secure online ordering system.

Part of my order is missing — how do I get the rest?

Give us a call at (740) 391-2309. We'll verify your order and remake any part that's needed.

I received an order with an error or damage — can you fix it?

Yes. We offer reprints at no charge if there's a problem with your order. Call the office at (740) 391-2309 and we'll fix it.

I'm not happy with my images — do you offer retakes?

We schedule retakes for fall yearbook portraits, and sports retakes can be done in our camera room. Call (740) 391-2309 to schedule.

What payment methods can I use?

Online ordering accepts secure card payment through our ordering platform.

Can I buy digital downloads?

Yes — digital downloads are available alongside prints and packages.

Do you provide yearbook-ready image files?

Yes. We deliver SIS- and yearbook-ready files in the formats your yearbook software expects.

Are students searchable by ID?

Yes — every portrait is tied to the correct student and ID, so there's no manual matching.

Are staff portraits included for the yearbook?

Yes, faculty and staff portraits are captured and included at no additional cost.

Will you meet our publisher's deadline?

We deliver to your publisher's timeline and fold in retakes and late adds cleanly so nothing holds up your book.
